{Madrid, May 18, 2020} The researcher of the eMadrid network,\u00a0<\/span>Baltasar Fern\u00e1ndez-Manj\u00f3n<\/strong>, professor at\u00a0<\/span>UCM<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>and director of the\u00a0<\/span>e-UCM<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0<\/span>research group, is to be congratulated.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>IEEE EDUCON 2020<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>has decided to award him, along with\u00a0<\/span>Javier Torrente, \u00c1ngel del Blanco, Eugenio J. Marchiori, Pablo Moreno-Ger<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>with the\u00a0<\/span>Most Cited Paper Award<\/strong>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>A recognition they receive, specifically, for\u00a0<\/span>“Introducing educational games in the learning process”<\/strong><\/a>, which was presented at\u00a0<\/span>EDUCON2010<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The award-winning article addresses\u00a0<\/span><\/span>the barriers that are limiting\u00a0<\/span><\/span>the integration of games in th<\/span>e learning process and propose\u00a0<\/span>approaches to tackle them.
