El proyecto eMadrid<\/strong> se divide en 8 l\u00edneas de investigaci\u00f3n<\/strong>, cada una con unos objetivos cient\u00edfico t\u00e9cnicos espec\u00edficos. Estas l\u00edneas de investigaci\u00f3n y objetivos est\u00e1n alineadas con las tem\u00e1ticas de especial importancia a corto y medio plazo en elearning<\/strong><\/em> que se han definido en multitud de informes como en los prestigiosos informes Horizon<\/strong><\/em>, as\u00ed como con las estrategias marcadas por la Uni\u00f3n Europea a trav\u00e9s de la iniciativa Opening Up Education<\/strong><\/em> y el programa Horizonte 2020<\/strong>. Descripci\u00f3n de los objetivos del proyecto:<\/p>\n

  1. Anal\u00edtica y evaluaci\u00f3n del aprendizaje.\u00a0<\/strong>Se observa la necesidad de avanzar en diferentes aspectos de c\u00e1lculo de indicadores cognitivos, meta-cognitivos, de personalidad o de patrones de decisi\u00f3n si analizamos los indicadores presentes en paneles de visualizaci\u00f3n (Schwendmann et al., 2017) o en sistemas adaptativos (Koedinger et al., 2015). Adem\u00e1s, es importante estudiar los requisitos de su aplicaci\u00f3n en entornos espec\u00edficos (e.g. juegos serios).<\/li>\n
  2. Contenidos abiertos: OER, Open Data y Open Science.\u00a0<\/strong>Esta investigaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 alineada con las conclusiones de la edicaci\u00f3n del NMC Horizon Report Preview, 2018 Higher Education Edition elaborado por el New Media Consortium (NMC) para los pr\u00f3ximos 3 a 5 a\u00f1os.<\/li>\n
  3. Laboratorios remotos, virtuales e IoT.\u00a0<\/strong>Este objetivo sigue el trabajo en temas de adquisici\u00f3n de competencias pr\u00e1cticas en las ingenier\u00edas y ense\u00f1anzas t\u00e9cnicas de cualquier nivel (desde STEM en colegios o institutos, universidades o aprendizaje permanente o para la vida) donde han demostrado que son una de las tecnolog\u00edas emergentes en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, como se puede ver en los indicadores y tendencias de uso de tecnolog\u00edas en la educaci\u00f3n (Martin et al., 2018), en juegos serios y entornos gamificados o en el uso de sistemas de laboratorios remotos y su gesti\u00f3n (Lowe et al., 2016).<\/li>\n
  4. Serious games, gamificaci\u00f3n y simulaciones.\u00a0<\/strong>Una vez demostrada su efectividad en determinados dominios (Boyle, 2016) es necesario mejorar los procesos de creaci\u00f3n, mantenimiento y evaluaci\u00f3n de estos entornos de modo que se pueda reducir la barrera de entrada y generalizar su uso en otros dominios. El aspecto de la evaluaci\u00f3n de la eficacia de los juegos y de la gamificaci\u00f3n es especialmente complejo y est\u00e1 muy relacionado con la anal\u00edtica de aprendizaje – objetivo 1- (Freire et al., 2016).<\/li>\n
  5. Ubicuidad, movilidad y realidad mixta.\u00a0<\/strong>Estudios recientes en el \u00e1rea (Bacca et al., 2014; Ib\u00e1\u00f1ez et al., 2018) se\u00f1alan la necesidad de buscar nuevas met\u00e1foras educativas que logren aprovechar las facilidades de ubicuidad, movilidad, interactividad e inmersi\u00f3n ligadas a la tecnolog\u00eda de realidad aumentada (AR) y realidad virtual (VR) en entornos tanto formales como informales.<\/li>\n
  6. MOOCs, SPOCs y LMSs.\u00a0<\/strong>En relaci\u00f3n con este objetivo encontramos numerosos estudios (Dos Santos et al., 2016) que relatan que la educaci\u00f3n abierta es ya una realidad, lo que hace necesario que sea posible tener contenidos abiertos y OER (objetivo 2) y que estos y los cursos online masivos o MOOCs sean una pr\u00e1ctica habitual de cualquier instituci\u00f3n universitaria (Le\u00f3n-Urrutia et al., 2018). Esta realidad abre un amplio abanico de posibilidades metodol\u00f3gicas en el campo de las tecnolog\u00edas educativas (objetivo 8) y va de la mano de la investigaci\u00f3n en el \u00e1rea de anal\u00edticas para el aprendizaje o Learning Analytics (objetivo 1).<\/li>\n
  7. Smart Learning Environments, IA.\u00a0<\/strong>El uso de t\u00e9cnicas de inteligencia artificial tambi\u00e9n contribuye a ampliar el abanico anteriormente mencionado, haciendo posible adaptar los contenidos ofrecidos a los estudiantes y la funcionalidad de los entornos educativos en funci\u00f3n de las necesidades particulares y la situaci\u00f3n contextual de cada uno de ellos (Madhubala et el., 2017). Para poder ofrecer esta adaptaci\u00f3n personalizada, es necesario extraer informaci\u00f3n sobre cada usuario de la forma menos intrusiva posible, para lo cual resulta de gran utilidad, por ejemplo, el uso de t\u00e9cnicas de procesamiento de lenguaje natural (Ortigosa et al., 2014).<\/li>\n
  8. Metodolog\u00edas educativas, competencias digitales y pensamiento computacional.\u00a0<\/strong>Este objetivo es transversal a los anteriores porque el uso eficaz de cualquier tecnolog\u00eda educativa exige metodolog\u00edas educativas adecuadas. El punto de vista del usuario tambi\u00e9n surge en el \u00e1mbito laboral, donde el uso eficaz de la inform\u00e1tica requiere que las personas tengan competencias digitales. El principal marco usado en la Uni\u00f3n Europea para definir la competencia digital es el marco DIGCOMP (Carretero, Vuorikari y Punie, 2017). A ra\u00edz de este marco, cada vez existen m\u00e1s iniciativas que muestran la necesidad de adquirir la competencia digital y el pensamimento computacional desde edades tempranas (SCIE y CODDII, 2018).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
