The\u00a0<\/span>eMadrid network<\/strong><\/b>\u00a0<\/span>will be, once again, part of\u00a0<\/span>EDUCON<\/a>\u00a0(IEEE Global Engineering Education Conference<\/strong><\/b>). This year’s edition will take place between\u00a0<\/span>April 21st and 23rd.<\/strong><\/b>\u00a0<\/span>Although Vienna was scheduled to host this meeting, it will finally take place\u00a0<\/span>online<\/strong><\/b>, due to restrictions arising from the coronavirus pandemic. The organization is in the hands of the\u00a0<\/span>Carinthia University of Applied Sciences<\/strong><\/b>\u00a0<\/span>and the\u00a0<\/span>University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien<\/strong><\/b>. This time, the theme chosen to be the common thread of the conference is\u00a0<\/span>“Women in Engineering.”<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n \n EDUCON<\/strong><\/b>\u00a0<\/span>has become an unmissable event for professors, researchers and other professionals. We are talking about a f\u00f3rum,\u00a0<\/span>sponsored by\u00a0<\/span>IEEE Education Society<\/strong><\/b>,\u00a0<\/span>which is considered the\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0the largest reference in education in the IEEE 8 Region (Europe, Middle East and North Africa). For many people, its the perfect place for collaboration and Exchange of ideas on engineering teaching and learning around the world.<\/p>\n \n \u00a0As usual, the\u00a0<\/span>eMadrid Network<\/strong><\/b>\u00a0<\/span>will participate in the conference with a two-parts-special session on\u00a0<\/span>“Education in the new normal”<\/strong><\/b>, in which it will discuss the different models to organize university education\u00a0when facing such an important challenge like the digitization of education.
