Los datos multimodales pueden ser usados como una herramienta para entender los estados de \u00e1nimo de los estudiantes en diferentes contextos (clases presenciales, online, resoluci\u00f3n de problemas, aprendizaje individual y colaborativo&#8230;) Esta charla se centrar\u00e1 en los contextos de aprendizaje en los que interviene la tecnolog\u00eda. El profesor Sharma ha utilizado los sensores multimodales para explicar diferentes aspectos del aprendizaje como el rendimiento basado en tareas, sus beneficios, las experiencias y los procesos socio-cognitivos que explican el comportamiento colaborativo. Presentar\u00e1 ejemplos de m\u00faltiples estudios que demuestran c\u00f3mo los datos multimodales en entornos educativos pueden ayudarnos a entender \u00abc\u00f3mo aprenden las personas\u00bb. Estos estudios incluyen diferentes contextos como la programaci\u00f3n en parejas, la s\u00edntesis de conocimientos en colaboraci\u00f3n, los sistemas inteligentes de tutor\u00eda, el aprendizaje basado en proyectos y el aprendizaje informal. Sus intereses se centran en el uso de datos emp\u00edricos multimodales (principalmente eye-tracking, di\u00e1logos, acciones de usuario, EEG), en el aprendizaje autom\u00e1tico para comprender los procesos de aprendizaje colaborativo e individual; y en el dise\u00f1o de herramientas de retroalimentaci\u00f3n para optimizar los procesos subyacentes. Tambi\u00e9n investiga sobre c\u00f3mo dar sentido a las experiencias y pr\u00e1cticas de los usuarios para redise\u00f1ar y optimizar las tecnolog\u00edas educativas interactivas. Su objetivo es entender por qu\u00e9 y c\u00f3mo utilizan la tecnolog\u00eda las diferentes categor\u00edas de estudiantes (cara a cara, online, especializados). El Dr. Sharma ha desarrollado y experimentado con juegos, interfaces tangibles, robots, comercio electr\u00f3nico y sistemas de informaci\u00f3n y tecnolog\u00edas colaborativas desde 2011.
