The UNESCO Chair “Scalable Digital Education for All<\/a>” at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid directed by Professor Carlos Delgado Kloos, continues\u00a0its activity in 2015 with the celebration of two new seminars. The first seminar will be held on January 9 under the title of “Physics Education with Active Learning Methodologies and Technology Support<\/a>“. The renowned MIT Professor Peter Dourmashkin will present the\u00a0<\/span>TEAL<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>initiative, a format and pedagogical approach used for more than a decade at MIT for teaching and learning in introductory physics courses. In addition, professors M\u00aa Blanca Ib\u00e1\u00f1ez and Antonio de Castro from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid will present practical experiences of using augmented reality to explain complex concepts of physics through experimentation.<\/p>\n
