Some members of the eMadrid project presented the progress of their researching activities in the Third IEEE EDUCON conference, hosted in Marrakech (Morocco) between past 17-20 April 2012. It was on Thursday 19 in the morning when, under the title \u201cWill m-Learning bring Disruption into Education? Advances from the eMadrid Excellence Network\u201d, different partner representatives showed the progress of their research activities.<\/p>\n
They talked about subjects like Serious Games, Linked Data Web or Augmented Reality like tools developed for the educational use of mobile devices. On Friday 20 there was also a presence of the eMadrid Network with the conference titled \u201cQuo Vadis, eLearning?\u201d by Carlos Delgado Kloos, the project coordinator.<\/p>\n
This was the Third conference organized by the IEEE after the ones held in Madrid (2010) and in Amman\/Jordania (2011). This edition was hosted by the University Mohammed V Souissi of Morocco and its general theme was “Collaborative Learning & New Pedagogic Approaches in Engineering Education”. Among the organizers of this event \u00a0the Polytechnic University of Madrid and the National Distance Learning University were included. Both of them are partners of the eMadrid Network.<\/p>\n
