Serious games can change depending on the purpose, the technology used and the interaction. At the technological level, a SG can be represented through a non-immersive screen (2D) in which interaction is possible thanks to a keyboard or mouse or through more immersive systems (3D or augmented reality). In addition, the “hidden” evaluation method, characteristic of the most advanced technological systems, is making it possible to evaluate and treat patients in a more implicit and objective way. In this talk, we introduce the concepts of SG according to different points of view and hidden evaluation as a measure of the ability of technologies to evaluate and modify human behavior. We present several examples of how SG can be used for the assessment of cognitive skills, describe the results of different research projects and conclude with a discussion of possible future implications.

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ admin_label=”About” _builder_version=”3.22″ min_height=”677px” custom_margin=”-3px|||||” custom_padding=”0px|||||” global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content”][et_pb_row column_structure=”2_5,3_5″ padding_top_bottom_link_1=”true” padding_left_right_link_1=”true” _builder_version=”4.9.4″ min_height=”509.8px” global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content”][et_pb_column type=”2_5″ _builder_version=”3.25″ background_image=”https://storage.googleapis.com/wp-uploads.bucket.wp.uc3m.es/wp-content/uploads/sites/40/2021/05/28095053/column-background-02.png” custom_padding=”50px|50px|50px|50px” custom_padding_tablet=”” custom_padding_phone=”20px|20px|20px|20px|true|true” custom_padding_last_edited=”on|phone” global_colors_info=”{}” padding_phone=”20px|20px|20px|20px|true|true” padding_last_edited=”on|phone” custom_padding__hover=”|||” theme_builder_area=”post_content”][et_pb_image src=”https://storage.googleapis.com/wp-uploads.bucket.wp.uc3m.es/wp-content/uploads/sites/40/2021/12/23110108/irene_chicchi.jpg” title_text=”irene_chicchi” align_tablet=”center” align_phone=”” align_last_edited=”on|desktop” _builder_version=”4.14.4″ animation_style=”zoom” animation_intensity_zoom=”10%” hover_enabled=”0″ box_shadow_style=”preset1″ box_shadow_vertical=”32px” box_shadow_blur=”100px” box_shadow_color=”rgba(0,0,0,0.15)” global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content” sticky_enabled=”0″][/et_pb_image][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”3_5″ _builder_version=”3.25″ custom_padding=”|||” custom_padding_tablet=”0px|||” custom_padding_last_edited=”off|desktop” global_colors_info=”{}” padding_tablet=”0px|||” padding_last_edited=”off|desktop” custom_padding__hover=”|||” theme_builder_area=”post_content”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.14.4″ text_font=”||||||||” text_font_size=”16px” text_line_height=”1.9em” header_font=”||||||||” header_2_font=”Roboto|300|||||||” header_2_font_size=”50px” header_2_line_height=”1.4em” hover_enabled=”0″ header_2_font_size_tablet=”40px” header_2_font_size_phone=”32px” header_2_font_size_last_edited=”on|phone” global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content” sticky_enabled=”0″]

Bio

Irene Chicchi Irene Chicchi is a doctor in Psychology specialized in Cognitive Sciences, a researcher at Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (UPV) and PhD student of last year in Technology for Health and Wellness at UPV and in Systems Medicine at University of Milan.
