Resumen de la ponencia<\/h2>\n

Learning Analytics tiene muchas definiciones, pero una de gran simplicidad y elegancia pero a la vez clara es “recopilar los rastros que los alumnos dejan y usar esos rastros para mejorar el aprendizaje” [Eric Duval]. M\u00e1s recientemente, sin embargo, el inter\u00e9s se ha movido hacia los “macrodatos”, o datos a gran escala, en todos los aspectos de nuestras vidas, incluida la educaci\u00f3n y el aprendizaje. Esta charla discutir\u00e1 varios enfoques recientes para las anal\u00edticas del aprendizaje implementados y publicados por el grupo de investigaci\u00f3n AIHS (Inteligencia Artificial y Sistemas Humanos) en Durham Computer Science. Biograf\u00eda<\/h2>\n

Alexandra I. Cristea es profesora, directora del grupo de investigaci\u00f3n de Innovaci\u00f3n Inform\u00e1tica y subdirectora del Departamento de Inform\u00e1tica, miembro de la Junta Asesora del Ustinov College de la Universidad de Durham. Es l\u00edder del equipo N8 CIR Digital Humanities para Durham. Es profesora honoraria del Departamento de Inform\u00e1tica de la Universidad de Warwick. Su investigaci\u00f3n incluye ciencia web, an\u00e1lisis de aprendizaje, modelado y personalizaci\u00f3n de usuarios, web sem\u00e1ntica, web social, autor\u00eda, con m\u00e1s de 300 art\u00edculos sobre estos temas (m\u00e1s de 4000 citas en Google Scholar, \u00edndice h 33). Especialmente, su trabajo sobre marcos para sistemas adaptativos ha influido en muchos investigadores. Se ha clasificado entre los 50 mejores investigadores del mundo en el \u00e1rea de investigaci\u00f3n educativa basada en computadoras seg\u00fan Microsoft Research. La profesora Cristea ha sido muy activa y tiene un papel influyente en proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n internacionales. Ha dirigido varios proyectos: proyecto JANET (Laboratorio conjunto en an\u00e1lisis del aprendizaje para la ense\u00f1anza de ciencias personalizada) financiado por el Instituto Weizman (2020-2022); Taller financiado por Newton sobre Educaci\u00f3n Superior para Todos (’14 -’18), Educaci\u00f3n financiada por Santander para alumnos desfavorecidos (’14-18 ‘), Proyecto APLIC financiado por Warwick (’11 -; 12), Proyectos EU Minerva ALS (06- 09) y EU Minerva ADAPT (’02 -’05); adem\u00e1s de participar como investigadora principal universitaria en varios proyectos del 7PM de la UE: BLOGFOREVER (’11 -’13), GRAPPLE (’08 – ’11), PROLEARN (’07) y como co-investigadora principal en el programa Engaging Young Assistance Technologies (’13 -’15) tambi\u00e9n presentado por la BBC.
