Resumen de la ponencia<\/h2>\n

A estas alturas del desarrollo de la sociedad de la informaci\u00f3n ya no quedan dudas de la importancia del libro digital en el entorno universitario. Es interesante entender su desarrollo en el propio ecosistema del libro, tanto por parte de las bibliotecas como de los editores universitarios. Las primeras fueron las verdaderas impulsoras de este formato hace m\u00e1s de una d\u00e9cada, al tener una clara visi\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica de las ventajas tanto por la gesti\u00f3n de sus colecciones como por el uso masivo que tendr\u00edan sus usuarios. Y efectivamente los estudiantes se han acostumbrado a que sus b\u00fasquedas a plataformas agregadoras de libros y revistas acad\u00e9micas, como e-Libro, sean cada vez m\u00e1s eficientes, r\u00e1pidas y completas.<\/p>\n

Por su parte, las editoriales acad\u00e9micas espa\u00f1olas han tardado mucho m\u00e1s tiempo y fueron obligadas a cambiar a marchas forzadas por presiones externas al propio sector, un cambio imparable y agudizado por la actual crisis del libro en papel. Trataremos pues de entender los retos pasados, presentes y futuros del libro acad\u00e9mico digital desde dos de las principales partes de su ecosistema: las bibliotecas y las editoriales, y ver as\u00ed cu\u00e1l podr\u00eda ser su papel en el futuro.<\/p>\n

Biograf\u00eda<\/h2>\n

Victoire Chevalier es licenciada en Filolog\u00eda Hisp\u00e1nica por la Universidad Toulouse le Mira\u00efl, con una tesina sobre el sector editorial espa\u00f1ol, y diplomada en Biblioteconom\u00eda y Documentaci\u00f3n por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Fue responsable del sector audiovisual de la mediateca del Instituto franc\u00e9s de Madrid antes de pasar a ser la directora de e-Libro en Espa\u00f1a en 2002. Desde entonces est\u00e1 en contacto permanente con bibliotecarios y editores y todas las instancias del sector.<\/span><\/p>\n
