Abstract
The design, development and maintenance of large virtual campuses are complex issues. This talk describes the architecture of a large university multiplatform virtual campus. This talk analyzes this architecture from three different points of view: (i) software architecture; (ii) detailed software design; and (iii) hardware architecture.
Bio
Antonio Navarro was born in Madrid (Spain) in 1973. He holds a Degree in Mathematics since 1996 and a Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences since 2000. Navarro is currently an Associate Professor an a member of the Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence Department at the Universidad Complutense of Madrid. His research areas in software engineering are focused on software modeling, application integration architectures and model-driven development. His research interests in the field of e-Learning focus on virtual campus architectures and tools associated with these systems.
