UNED offers 17 new online and free courses in the education field
UNED has launched the third edition of MOOC courses –developed as part of the ECO project (Elearning, Communication and Open resources), sponsored by the European Commission –, with 16 new programmes in the education field, aimed at all type of participants but with a special focus for teachers and educators.
The courses, driven by different universities and institutions, will be developed from October 5th. They offer updated and relevant content in the world of Web 2.0, and address issues such as the management of open education resources, materials design multimedia, acquiring strategies for managing online communities or the application of new teaching approaches and specific technologies.
In addition, UNED has opened the call for the second edition of ‘MOOCs Step by step’, a course available in six languages and designed in a way that each participant will learn to design and develop their own MOOCs.
ECO (Elearning, Communication, Open resources) is an educational project financed by the European Commission that consists of 23 top-level educational institutions, located in nine countries.
