Abtract

This talk will discuss the reality of gamification industry in Spain in the context of the needs of company training, serious games, simulators and training games, with worked examples in Telefónica and other agents. The future lines that training games are headed towards will be reviewed. Finally, we will make a reflection, relying on several examples, on how the game design is playing a key part in the evolution to a new digital educational format.

Bio

Angel Gonzalez is a graduate of Information Sciences at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He has always been interested in the development of new forms of communication through digital media. He was director of one of the first Internet portals in Spain, the AOL Time Warner, after which he was long involved in public communication. Now he is MiriadaX project manager and responsible of gamificación at Telefonica Digital Education. In the last two years he has developed gamified systems and training games for different companies. He participates and collaborates with Gamification World Congress. He also likes fiction and has written a book.
