Third Workshop on Software Engineering in e-Learning ISELEAR'12
Next 29-31 October 2012, eMadrid project members will be held in Andorra the Third Workshop on Software Engineering in e-Learning (ISELEAR’12) in the context of XIV Simposio Internacional de Informática Educativa (SIIE 2012).
This new edition maintains the goals set for the previous editions of the workshop, ISELEAR’10 and ISELEAR’11: to bring together researchers and software development experts in the field of eLearning to present, compare and discussthe latest trends in the conception, design, development, deployment and maintenance of eLearning systems. Thus, the emphasis of the workshop will be on the technological aspects of such developments, with emphasis on how systems are built, what processes, methods, techniques and tools have been used in such construction, what strategies for managing multidisciplinary development teams have been used, what lessons have been learned, etc.
After receiving many requests about it, the deadline has been extended again. The new date will be July 15, 2012, and it is the final one.
As you know, this year ISELEAR’12 is organized jointly with the International Symposium on Computers in Education. Because of that, Workshop proceedings will be included in the proceedings volume of SIIE’12. Nevertheless, as in previous editions, we would like to publish extended and revised versions of best papers presented at the workshop in different journals. In particular, special sections will be published in the following journals:
- Educational Technology & Society (journal indexed in JCR)
- IEEE RITA
We are also finalizing the organization of a special issue in other indexed journal with high impact about the topic of the workshop.
