Abstract
Running away ideological or marketing approaches we will go on a vision of the future of education where one of the key themes is education-related blockchain discussion. So we will see what offers this technology : the blockchain could be utilized to better manage assessments, credentials, and transcripts. In few words, it will be utilized for identity management and for “smart contracts” on areas in education that are already backed by funding and by policy.
Bio
D. Angel Hernandez Bravo, Computer Engineer, joined IBM in 1989 where most of his career has been dedicated to IT infrastructure for Defense and Security. He is a member of the CTO team of IBM in Europe for Defense, Security and BlockChain, and is the Chairman of IBM’s Technical Advisory Council in Southern Europe and Israel.
