Abstract

Bullying in schools is one of the serious problems young people face today. Society must therefore provide all the necessary resources to avoid its negative effects and encourage positive personal development. Technology is one such resource, in particular the so-called “serious games”. An effective tool that, together with pedagogy and psychology, can help to prevent this problem. The project “eConfidence: Confidence in behaviour changes through serious games” (financed by the European Union through the Horizon 2020 programme, Ref. 732420) works along these lines, with the design of two “serious games”, one of them focused on the prevention of bullying. More info: http://www.econfidence.eu/
