Abstract

In the current scenario there is great interest in better understanding how learning happens and how it can be adapted and personalised. MOOCs have provided new and unique research opportunities in this field. In these open masive courses a large number of students can be registered, coming from different countries and with different educational profiles. The data collected through them offers a enormous statistical value.

This talk will include some of the research, including some promoted by the GICAC group of the UPM, developed in this field, in which there are frequent collaborations in the collection of data between the different actors involved in the life cycle of MOOCs, whether authors, institutions or platform providers, among others.
