Bio
Edmundo Tovar is a computer engineer and PhD in Computer Science from the UPM (1994). He is a Full Professor at the UPM and leader of the research group REFERENT (“Engineering education for a sustainable world based on IoT”. He has served as an elected member of the Board of Directors of the Open Education Consortium (2009-2013), executive director of the Office of Open Education of the UPM (2013-2016) He is currently President of the IEEE Education Society (2021-2022)
