Cristina VillalongaUniversity of Nebrija
Abstract
As part of the celebration of the 5th centenary of the death of Antonio de Nebrija, the Nebrija University presents the online course “Antonio de Nebrija: Apologia del saber”, of an informative and generalist nature, open to anyone interested in humanism, language, grammar, history, etc.
The main objective of this open education action is to transmit Nebrija’s values through the life, work and legacy of Antonio de Nebrija, from a modern point of view. In this way, this course not only analyses the figure of the first Hispanic humanist, but also addresses each of his facets in the current context, within the framework of a digital, post-covid society, which is experiencing a new renaissance.
In this talk, Cristina will address the process of creating the MOOC at the University of Nebrija, as well as its offer to the community and the challenges in the choice of platform to disseminate it.
