Once again, eMadrid Network of Excellence will participate in the IEEE Global Engineering Education Conference (EDUCON), which will take place in Kuwait from 1st to 4th of May. EDUCON is one of the most important meeting points for teachers, researchers and industry professionals. It is considered to be the largest education conference in the IEEE Region 8 (Europe, Middle East and North Africa). It offers the opportunity to present their work, publish results, exchange ideas and establish contacts for future scientific and industrial collaborations. The conference will bring together more than 150 participants from 64 countries from 5 continents.
The eMadrid Network will be present again at the conference through a special session on “Recognition of learning: Status, experiences and challenges”. This special session will take place on Tuesday 2nd of May from 16:30h. The scheduled presentations are the following:

Moreover, Carlos Delgado Kloos, coordinator of eMadrid, will be part of the round table “AI and ChatGPT” that will take place on Wednesday, May 3rd at 12h, with the participation of Abdullah Y. Al Zoubi (Princess Sumaya University for Technology) and Marco Zappatore (University of Salento). Carlos Delgado will also present the paper entitled “Recreation of Different Educational Exercise Scenarios for Exercise Modeling” on the same day at 15:18h.
Ruth Cobos (UAM) will present the article entitled “ERC-Language: A Student-Centered Learning Platform for Improving Non-Native’ English Reading Comprehension Skills” on Thursday 4 May at 8:30h and Baltasar Fernández Manjón (UCM) will take part in the round table “Metaverse in education” on Wednesday 3 May at 12h.
Manuel Castro (UNED) will be co-chair of the conference and member of the Steering Committee. And Edmundo Tovar (UPM), chair of the Steering Committee.
