Meet the winners of the eMadrid Awards 2020

The eMadrid network, within the framework of the call for R&D Programmes in Technologies 2018, has selected the winners of the eMadrid Awards 2020, all of them authors of works whose theme is totally or partially related to research or development of educational technologies. We would like to thank all the candidates who have participated in this edition for their efforts and highlight the quality of the works presented.

  • Best PhD Thesis: 

Winner ex aequo: Laia Albó Perez, for «Visual data-enriched design technology for blended learning»; and Konstantinos Michos, for «Supporting teachers as designers with community and learning analytics: a framework, technology and case studies».

Second prize: Pedro Plaza Merino, for «Educational robotics dual lab».

  • Best Master’s Thesis:

Winner: Roberto Daza García,  for «Design of an online student monitoring platform through human-machine interaction».

Second prize: Francisco Jiménez Moral, for «Debrapp: creation of a mobile learning tool for collaborative learning».

  •  Best Final Degree Project:

Winner: Laura Hidalgo Rueda, for «RODY: Educational application for children of early childhood education».

Second prize: Isaac Lozano Osorio, for «Blue Thinking».
