Abstract

First, the presentation will focus on the development and maintenance processes of IEEE Education Society sponsored standard, the IEEE Std 1876 – 2019 on Networked Smart Learning Object for Online Laboratory. Then we will talk about IEEE Learning Technology Standards Committee (LTSC) carrying several satellite projects such as those generated by IEEE Industry Consortium on Learning Engineering (ICICLE) initiative. Finally, the newly approved standardization tasks on Secured and Trusted Learning Systems, the P2834 will be unveiled. This initiative is jointly sponsored by IEEE Education Society (EdSoc), IEEE LTSC and IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IES).
