Miguel Rodríguez ArtachoUniversidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia, UNED
Abstract
After the rise of elearning standards and the technological maturity of content integration and structuring, the development of laboratory interoperability mechanisms had been relegated to generic interoperability frameworks. In 2014, the IEEE-SA group P1876 launched a proposal to create an interoperability standard for online laboratories that has resulted in the first standard of the IEEE education chapter. This talk describes the standard and discusses the most relevant aspects of it.
