eMadrid researchers will share in SIMO EDUCATION their experiences on the efficient use of new technologies in the classroom. The three presentations already mentioned will follow this approach: the first will deal with the use of gamifications as a tool to support student learning and their attitude when solving tasks; the second will reflect on the usefulness of SPOCs (Small Private Online Courses) to improve the interaction between students and teacher in the classroom, with an example of flipped classroom in a first year coding course in several engineering itineraries at UC3M, over 400 students; and the third will discuss how to introduce coding at pre-university levels (Kindergarten and Primary School).

SIMO EDUCATION 2018 will offer improvements to attendees such as free connection to the «best wifi network in Spain», the result of an ambitious project to renovate the entire wireless infrastructure of IFEMA.
