Bios
Manuel Castro is Doctor Industrial Engineer from the Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineering (ETSII) of the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM) and Industrial Engineering, specializing Electricity, Electronics and Automatics intensification, for the same school. He has obtained the PhD Extraordinary Award of the UPM and the Viesgo 1988 Doctoral Thesis Award for the contribution to Scientific Research on Applications of Electricity in industrial processes. Participates in numerous research projects as a researcher, coordinator and director and published in journals and conferences, both national and international, in the areas of simulation applications in systems based on advanced microprocessors, solar systems or applications and systems distance learning systems and telematics to computer assisted electrical engineering (CAEE), serving as senior technical director.
Sergio Martín is Doctor by the Department of Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Control of Industrial School of the UNED in 2010, where he is Professor Hired Doctor. He has been involved since 2002 in research projects related to mobility, e-learning, remote and virtual laboratories, and new technologies applied to teaching.
