The digital textbook, unlike the printed textbook, provides the ability to present information in a rich variety of formats, it has interactive capabilities, it allows the customization of information and it also allows the structuring of both internal and external content. What characteristics of digital textbooks represent an improvement in the teaching-learning process? Under what conditions it is worth replacing printed textbooks by digital textbooks?
