Bios

Sara Osuna has a PhD in Philosophy and Educational Sciences from the UNED since 2004. She is a professor of Communication and Education at the UNED and a specialist in digital technologies, edu-communicative models and virtual teaching. Her lines of research are MOOCs, media convergence, digital scenarios, disability, digital learning and social networks. She is currently coordinator of the European project “(ECO) “Elearning, Communication and Open-data: Mobile, Massive and Ubiquitous Learning” where 23 partners from nine different European countries participate. As of the 2013/14 academic year, she also takes the position of Deputy Vice-rector for Permanent Formation.

María Fernández Raga has a degree in Environmental Sciences and a Graduate in Forestry Engineering. I did my doctoral thesis in Applied Physics at the University of León, and has 10 years of experience as a professor at the University of León and 5 years as a tutor at UNED. She belongs to a teaching innovation group and we are currently working on new technologies to be able to bring quality content to a greater number of people with open education.

Beatriz Serrano Cuevas has a degree in Hispanic Philology with a Master’s degree in Linguistics Applied to Teaching Spanish to Foreigners. She has been a teacher of ELE for 10 years, she is currently doing her doctoral thesis within the ICT Doctorate Program in the Teaching and Treatment of Languages of the UNED. Her main lines of research are the curricular design of Spanish courses for specific purposes, ICT in language teaching and MOOCs. She has collaborated in MOOC courses of the ECO project as a facilitator and as an e-teacher.

Patricia C. Mazzucchelli is an essentialist and eclectic pedagogue. Researcher and explorer of consciousness through Neurolinguistic Programming, Bioenergetics and Multiple Intelligences. Advice, therapy and training in for-profit and non-profit institutions (group minors/adults at risk of social exclusion). Occupational trainer. Master in “Social Networks and Digital Learning” (UNED). She is currently studying the Master in “Bioconstruction” (I.E.Baubiologie-UdL) and developing the paradigm of “Egsentialist Holistic Pedagogy”.

Vicente Montiel Molina is a professional in the IT sector who has oriented his professional profile towards teaching and the world of Social Media. He is a University expert in eLearning from the Complutense University of Madrid; founder of Tabarca Consulting, a consulting firm specializing in Social Media Management; and collaborating professor at the UNED, the University of Malaga and the University of Granada. He is part of the coordinating team of the ECO project and the ESPY project, which is part of the Community Program for Employment and Social Solidarity.
